Punta di Vo – Monte Baldo via Malcesine

Explore this 10.6 km linear trail near Malcesine, in the Veneto region. This route is considered challenging, with an estimated duration of 4 hours and 49 minutes to complete. It's a popular destination for bird watching, hiking, and jogging, so expect to meet other explorers along the way. The ideal months for this hike are from May to November. Dogs are also welcome, provided they remain on a leash.

A fascinating, fun, and challenging hike. Most of the route involves an ascent, passing through shaded hairpin turns. The starting point is in Malcesine, located on the Lake Garda. The trails are clearly marked, and the effort is well rewarded once you reach the summit of Monte Baldo (1756m), from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake from numerous vantage points.

Alternatively, the Monte Baldo Cable Car can be used for ascending or descending.

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend on the weekend of June 10 and 11, 2017 and we were totally satisfied. The strengths of this structure are definitely the location directly on the lake (we had a room with a lake view) and the proximity to the center, easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. The staff is really kind and helpful and ready to meet all needs. Another plus for us was the parking. Must see: the Castle, Monte Baldo, and a trip to Limone. We will definitely return to Malcesine and definitely to this hotel!

It's a wonderful hotel. First of all, its location, not far from the center of Malcesine and very close to the beach, there is a cycle path that allows you not to use the car and a few meters away, there is the pier where you can take the ferry. The structure is beautiful, spacious rooms with small terraces to enjoy the view, very kind and smiling staff, then the kitchen: exquisite. In addition, the underground parking is very convenient. I especially recommend it for those who want a romantic holiday but also for those who want relaxation and naturalistic or cultural excursions

The hotel is brand new and is right on the lake, a fantastic position to take a walk to the village and enjoy the last rays of sun. The staff was very kind and really welcoming, both on arrival and at the bar, where we had an aperitif before dinner and then stopped before going to sleep. The breakfast was also excellent, very rich and complete, and especially the room is completely glassed and overlooking the lake. Our room was truly noteworthy, a suite with a huge window on the lake, right in front of the bed... upon waking up, it feels like being directly in the water!
